Color Saturated Historic Kitchen Renovation

This historic home in Candler Park is home to a lively family with three athletic boys.  After many years of living in the home, the kitchen was ready for a complete overhaul.  We reworked the cabinetry layout with a significant focus on symmetry and the functionality of keeping three hungry boys out of the work triangle with easily accessible snacks as well as creating intentional spaces for specific needs.  This increased storage and maximized efficiency.  Aesthetically, we leaned into color and sought to tell the tale of a kitchen that had been created by enclosing an external wall many years ago (not true) by specifying rich teal cabinetry and a brick backsplash.
